"If a person can back that up with evidence and have a sound academic reason, that's one thing," he said. "It sounds pretty far-fetched for me."

If you can't back up your ideas with evidence and sound reason, does it reaslly belong in a university, or any other, classroom ?

First, PLEASE TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND CONTACTS about a wonderful website shooting down this anti-American crap.

http://www.911myths.com carefully examines the Real truth -- that the conspiracy theorists are WRONG. Mike does this free. Refuses to accept advertising money.

Although Mike has not yet caught up on all of the many controversies, he does a wonderful job of explaining the errors by the 9/11 Conspiracy Nuts.

Second, it is clear that the reason why we all believe the official explanation of 9/11 is because we don't wear tin foil hats, to keep out the microwave signals from the government.

Third, about the psychology. These people are COWARDS. They know that there are real Islamic terrorirsts who WANT TO KILL THEM (and me). But they cannot do anything about that fear. They cannot escape it.

Therefore, they INVENT A FAKE ENEMY whom they are not really afraid of. They DENY the existence of the real enemy, who just might kill them, because they cannot escape that fear. So they bury their fear, by inventing an imaginaty enemy.

They KNOW that George Bush and the government are NOT going to hurt them. Therfore, they can rant and attack people whom it is SAFE to attack. They do not dare attack the terrorist (or even think about them). So they attack someone who is a safe target.

In other words, it is the Stockholm Syndrome.

And yes, there is a lot of politics as well. Many figure they will do to Bush what the American Spectator did (in their view) to Bill Clinton.
