This is similiar to the Jill Carroll situation.
They made her make a video where she basically "converted" to islamic thinking before she was released.

Keep in mind these guys are simply reporters and are not trained to deal with torture and such.
They are in a tough situation and might say some stupid things.
Don't hold it against them.

Yep. They have "chosen the path of peace" and "converted to Islam".
I really hate to say this. I've been worried sick about Steve and Olaf, but they just sold their souls to the devil. I couldn't do it. Saw my head of with a butter knife but I'll never forsake my God.
I'm glad they are safe though. I'm sure their families are relieved.

Hopefully, they will renounce Islam when they are home. Just getting them home alive is what's important at this time. I'd tell the Koranimals whatever it took to get away from the smelly things!
