Pat Buchanan's new book has roared to the top of the Amazon best-seller list hitting the No. 1 spot within a day of its release.
In his "State of Emergency: The Third World Invasion and Conquest of America," Buchanan warns that the United States is witnessing its own death as illegal immigration destroys the fabric of the American nation.
More: Buchanan says Mexico has been mounting a conscious effort to use the United States as a dumping ground for its poor and unemployed.
Pat Buchanan reports that since 9/11, more than 4 million illegal immigrants have crossed our borders and there are more coming every day. He argues that our leaders in Washington lack the political will to uphold the rule of law. The melting pot is broken beyond repair and the future of our nation is at stake.

This has somehow turned into a Dirty South rap thread! First Ludacris, now Master P!
bump for later
No, Bush's legacy will have been to have lost the whole country, not just the southwest portion of it. This is a problem that is not to be seen it in its geographical dimension only but must be seen in the context of turning the entire country blue, turning us over to a tyrannical cultural Marxism which steals our basic liberties from us, and turning the rule of law on its head through corruption.
That will be the best face for Bush's legacy, for if a terrorist strike against the homeland with weapons of mass destruction occurs, and the terrorists are found to have come across the border undetected, Bush will go down as the worst president in American history.
There is an in-between position for Bush's legacy, and that is that illegal immigration turns America into a kind of Hispanic France without the cultural identity to wage a successful, generational, world war against Islamic fascism.
This need not have been so. I've been posting on these threads for years that Bush must enforce the laws as they currently exist. Had he done so, employers today would be turning away illegal immigrants, they would be going home and the problem would drain away. But he would not and he did not. Now we are all to suffer along with his legacy.
Ping.
I'm happy Pat hasn't been a Republican since 2000.
I may have to (respectfully) differ with you on this. President Bush seems the ONLY one who has even tried to protect western civilization. He's had victories and losses but he is still standing. I'll stand with him.
"Isolationism doesn't work."
What isolationism are you talking about? Did you even read the article? Did you just read the headline, see Pat Buchanan's name, and assume it was something about the Iraq war? Secures borders and stoping illegal immigration are common sense to everyone but the Wall Street Journal editorial board.
I lived on the border for 25 years. I still have family on the farm there. Some things bother me and some don't.
I'll still stand with Dubya.
He has given our legacy, bought and paid for by our forefathers, away to illegal invaders.
I spit coffee on my keyboard reading #9.
Well, if you can live with it, I can.
Good for you! Thanx. ;o)
This man is a disaster for Republicans. Today he said better to lose presidency and congress to democrats than allow Bush's immigration reform bill pass. He is determined to make republicans a minority party...a jihadist attitude.
Earlier book claimed Roosvelt and Churchill should have left Hitler alone..hmmmmm. some American we have here. And his pounding of a false statistic that 58 percent of hispanic want the southwest returned to mexico is just false and completely loaded. There is no such widespread sentiment even Mexicans admire the United States they just by a two thirds margin defeated the anti us presidential candidate but if Buchanan gets his way..we will have no friends left..Mexican Americans are the very proudest Americans.
Some Americans can't seem to separate legal Mexican immigrants and naturalized citizens and illegal immigrants (who hail from many countries, including developed ones).
Pat Buchanan has a messsage that CANNOT be suppressed!
