Your sentiments are correct . . . it's just that the U.S. has had the same idiotic pro-Islamic policy in the Balkans through the last THREE administrations (including the current one).
Not sure how you can call our Balkans policy "pro-Islamic" when you look at the results. When the first President Bush took office, Yugoslavia was still a communist country, no ally of the USA, and a way-station for terrorists such as Mohammed Abbas of Achille Lauro infamy. Albania was an isolationist, brutal communist dictatorship.
Now, what started as Yugoslavia--communist, atheist, hostile to America--has turned into six nation-states; all with democratic governments: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, and Macedonia. Five of those six are primarily Christian. Four(Slovenia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Croatia) to include the only one with a Muslim majority (Bosnia), have troops allied with the USA in Afghanistan and/or Iraq. Albania is also now a democracy and a staunch US ally; one of the first to contribute troops to both Iraq & Afghanistan; and opens its air & land & sea-space for our military to train.
So explain again how US Balkans policy which has produced democracy for millions, several Christian majority nations, and a group of allies for the USA in the war against Islamic terrorism is "pro-Islamic."
