According to Time.com, If you ask anyone around Hillary Clinton the question that everyone is asking, the answer comes back in a shot: The freshman Senator from New York is far too busy concentrating on her re-election in November to be giving even a passing thought to 2008. Thank you very much.
While her opposition is fixed conservative 30% far right, her supporting base is stronger than ever. She is running and running with full vigor for the next Presidential election in 2008. And guess who will be running mate - yes her husband former US President Bill Cinton.
That is a combination that cannot be defeated. Hillary and Bill Clinton not only brings the country together, brings democratic party base to full vigor with a hope to restore glory back to America.
Bush supporters call it a disaster. And the Red States are ready to fight to the last vote they have but it will really be interesting!
OK! Now I know you're worried. india daily?
Ooooookkk... Whoever wrote that one was really, really high on his pot. Or whatever they were smoking, must have been good.
Hillary and Bill bringing the country together !?? Say whaaaaa' ? That'd be a disaster, allright, but for the Democrats.
This is so for many different reasons, but the most important one, is because it's unconstitutional.
Too scary, at the very least!
The author of this bilge, Peter Ostanovich would appear to be a sufferer of cranialrectal inversion.
They can't and besides they are from the same state and they are "married".
The Breck Boy?
Michael Moore?
You are correct sir.
Here are the relevant parts of the constitution.
Amendement XII
..... But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
Amendment XXII
1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President, when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.
*gasp* I have posted an article too. LOL
These idiot journalists prove every day that they are dumb ... but this one is so frakking stupid that even a cursory reading of the Amendments will tell you that this is Constitutionally impossible.
I would bet that despite it being explicit in the Constitution, the news media would trot out some "Constitutional scholar" to tell us otherwise...
Kerry had to leave the Senate before running for president. he didn't.
