They talked about that during the Tampa Bay / Miami game. The players that were interviewed seemed really moved by the experience. The NFL is the best in that regard.

Me???MacDillAFB 1971-1975. Was at the FIRST Tampa Bay-Miami game- a preseason game a year later in the "Old Sombrero". Tampa Bay played with Miami most of that game pretty much "up to snuff". Griese ( as in Bob) "played" like he was having trouble with the Tampa defense. But then decided it was time to get it together in the late 3rd quarter, and it was over after that. Back in the good ole days of Tampa. John McKay and Abe Gibron. Tampa Bay Bucs then went totally defeated for what 2 years or so. The worst loss, however, was the Seattle loss about midseason of their first year. Seattle and Tampa both entered the league that year.
I miss Tampa and I miss MacDill. Thanks for the thread.
