Just a helpful "heads up" folks.
Unfortunately, the War Memorial does *not* have a parking lot and parking is at a premium in Johnstown. Please allow time to find a parking place and wear comfy shoes as you may have to walk several blocks.
If, for example, you're staying at the Super 8 (about 3 blocks away) or downtown Holiday Inn (about 1/2 block), plan on walking. :)
It's just that "mom brain" kicking in. ;)
How about some support for Swann as well?
I am trying to see if I can get some support from the remains of the lethargic wing of the FR in Cleveland.
If I have to go myself I will be there encouraging Murtha to put his skirt back on, his medals back in the drawer, and get the hell out of the way.

I looked at the "info link". Very impressive. Wish I could be there but Texas to PA is a long way for a Sunday drive. May I make one suggestion?
Some of our older vets are on fixed income. Before booking a room I suggest trying one of the online booking services; hotwire.com, orbitz.com, priceline.com, etc. I ALWAYS do better on hotel rates when I do. I know everyone reading this has internet service. So, it won't cost anything to check.
