I see this as a long-held Southern tradition to honor our fathers, same as the Lord wrote on stone tablets on Mount Sinai.

We should uphold the honor of such brave men and hold close in our hearts their sacrifice for protecting their families and homes. A car tag is the least we can do to remember their bravery.

More power to you. But at the same time I'm being told that my ancestors, who fought for the Union, were "dupes and buffoons."
