--A nukular test by NJ should be a declaration of nukular war.--

Yeah! Nuke New Jersey, turn it into a nuke waste dump, and solve the radioactive waste storage problem forever ...

Hey, why the hell not. What are we going to do about it?

After what just happened with Israel, they know there is very little we can do.

Iran/DPRK/China. Can you say, collusion?

One silver lining about a nuclear attack is that it's easily traceable. If a nuke was set off in the US the states from which it came would be uninhabitable for thousands of years. That would be the only option because we have to maintain deterrent, and deterrent only work if the other side thinks there's a chance they'll be nuked.

I'm not talking about a few tactical nukes either, but about 20 of our 400kt warheads.

I think its pretty unlikely that the administration will do anything about it.

On the other hand, Id be really glad if they did. If theres a citizenry that needs liberation, its the north koreans. Poor buggers.

Ouch. I meant my post as a compliment to you, as I find your input very informative.

Sorry to have offended you.

Betcha both of their bombs came from the same place - Pakistan...

Just like pakistans missiles come from Korea. Theres a dirty game afoot. Musharraf didnt allow US intel to grill AQ Khan. Who knows whom hes sold bomb secrets to.

Iran gets nukes and the US military is absolutely compromised in the ME.

We might as well pack up our bags and go home, game over.

That's why I fear the day that the CIA/Mossad actually confirm it, because Israel will have delivered the fireworks before we wake up in the morning. It won't be pretty.

"What would Bush do if they tested on the same day?"

As per usual, nothing. The left can't bear the thought of another conflict and will make sure his hands are tied.

"Or they both make moves at the same time? NK goes south, and Iran moves on Iraq and Israel?

Does China want to join the party, too?

The map on the war games thread suggests that Iran has big plans this weekend..."

Iran will be flattened if they try it. It's one thing for us to be timid about climbing mountains to invade Tehran and an entirely separate matter for them to even get close to Bagdad in the open desert.

As for North Korea this would be very ugly for the South and our troops stationed there. Nuke them to repel the invasion and you get China involved. Conventionally, I see the North overunning the South (I hate to admit that). The older generation in the South were strong willed people who fought and died for democracy and hated the North with a passion. This younger fully democratic generation is like the USA, with half of it's population including it's leader being appeasers.

"If we have already nuked NK or Iran what makes the ChiComs and Russkies think that we wouldn't launch on warning against them?"

Your point is the one of the exact reasons they may launch first.

The possible location of the nuclear site.Yomsogol N3903? E12639?. If you notice the site is in the mountains which would be a perfect site for detonating a underground nuclear bomb

I hope you realize the signifigance of 5 days also?

It is in 5 days that Iran will "give the West an answer" on their nukes.

This is going to be ugly.

Cheers,
