The London terror plot was sanctioned by al Qaeda's No2, Ayman al Zawahri, according to Pakistani intelligence.

What will the moonbats say now that their hero Al-Zawahiri says the plot is real? They were all so in denial saying it was concocted by Bush / Blair to score political points / in reaction to the Lamont primary victory etc...

"We have reason to believe that it was al Qaeda sanctioned and was probably cleared by al Zawahri," a senior official said.

Simply that Karl Rove arranged for this to come out in order to take attention away from the real perpetrators; Blair & Bush.
Actually 95% of DUers don't think Osama and Al Zawahiri are real terrorists. They think Bush brings them out for scare tactics when his poll numbers go down. They are totally sick and irrational in their thinking.

I read somewhere (NY Times perhaps) that during the 80's in beta testing, Bin Laden was created. Reagan was looking to put the RWM1984 version on a star wars platform and control the weather from space. Things went a bit awry.

I try to go to DU. I realize you have to know your enemy, and they are indeed the enemy. Going to DU produces nothing good for me, I am either totally disgusted, sick to my stomach, or angry beyond words. Frequently it's some combination of the above. I can't believe those people think they're Americans.
