Muslims in India 'Targeted With Suspicion'

BOMBAY -- At first glance, the Nayanagar district of Bombay could be a showcase for the rising prospects of India's long-struggling Muslim minority. It features wide, clean streets, brightly painted high-rise apartments and a populace that includes doctors, engineers and real estate agents.

But in the wake of the devastating July 11 train bombings in Bombay, in which more than 200 people were killed, residents here say they feel fingers of suspicion and hate pointing at all Muslims, not just jobless slum youths and bearded students from Islamic radical groups.

"We are law-abiding citizens, but the whole community is being targeted with suspicion now," said Azimuddin, 40, a physician who with dozens of neighbors rushed to help victims of one bombed train that had just pulled out of Nayanagar station. "Every one of us is a question mark."

The cumulative impact on Muslim communities such as Nayanagar's is palpable. In a dozen conversations, residents barely contained their anger and bitterness as they traced a history of growing discrimination, ostracism and violence, punctuated by Bombay's Hindu-Muslim riots of 1993 and a worse rampage of anti-Muslim violence in Gujarat state in 2002.

--SNIP--

There have been late-night raids in a dozen Muslim communities in Bombay and unusual security checks of Muslims traveling abroad, including several irate members of the pampered Bollywood set.

"This Islamophobia is being imported from the West and filtering like a poison into India's bloodstream," said Mahesh Bhatt, a Bollywood producer who complained that when his film crew flew to Dubai for a shoot last week, the sole Muslim, a choreographer, was singled out by police for questioning about his passport and travel.

Targeted with suspicion? They're lucky they're not being targeted with bullets.

Gee, and you don't think that all those bombs on the trains had anything at all to do with it?

All the more reason to watch them. Don't see them turning on the "bad" muslins. Just whining about their treatment.

Bull droppings. 1200 years of Islam's assault on India and over 100 million Hindu's slaughtered has nothing to do with it Mahesh? Periodic butchering of Hindus by Muzzies who get all worked up after friday night prayers at the mosks in just about every village has nothing at all to do with it Mahesh? The "poor me I'm a victim because I'm muslim" crap just doesn't work anymore.

"It feels like the whole world is against Muslims," said one young man, checking his BlackBerry as he headed for Friday prayers at a mosque in Mahin, a lower-class Muslim district in Bombay where several hundred youths were rounded up and questioned after the train bombings."

GEE, Maybe its because those that follow the "Religion of Peace" are all against the world. In the end, when your options are Convert or push back, I will vote to Push Back with excessive force.

"Every one of us is a question mark."

And until you take care of these monsters, you'll be a question mark! And rightly so.

Muslims have the ability and resources to eliminate these monsters.

There are 57 Muslim countries in the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

Every one of them has an intelligence service and a military, often a military intelligence branch. There's no reason that they can't hunt these thugs down and eliminate them.

Same goes for these poisonous Imams. If the govt's wanted to, they could jail or kill them. There might be hell to pay for the govt's, but at least the name of Islam wouldn't be dragged through the mud like it is now.

The people know who they are. The Imam's know who these people are. Most of these govt's know who these thugs are.

They simply CHOOSE to do nothing and allow Islam's name to be besmirched by these murderous cretins. They WANT these monsters out there butchering people. They KNOW that the Koran is instructing these maniacal thugs to do what they're doing.

That's why Islam takes no action against them. That's why they fund them, train them, equip them and send them on their way.

Take action Abdul, or sit down and shut up and be counted amongst the mass-murdering fascists!

Islam is a sick murderous blood cult. It always has been. It's full of wierd and bizzare laws which result in- what else- death. Killing is a sport.

Take for instance, in the rural western Iraqi village of Gazalia, a shepherd was killed for failing to diaper his goats, apparently it results in sexual tension among men and according to Sharia law, the sight of a naked goat is tempting enough to warrant killing the shepherd.

Think that is crazy, in another case, a grocer and three others were murdered and fire bombed simply for not following the Sharia way of arranging vegetables, apparently because the grocer arranged it differently and for the profoundly repressed, “suggestive.”

You can listen to this story here: shepard killed for failing to diaper goats

Should he speak out against the Jihadists, the question mark would be replaced by a target.
