Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gestures as he leaves a meeting during the 'Meeting of Friends of the Chair of the 10th Islamic Summit Conference' in Putrajaya outside Kuala Lumpur August 3, 2006. Ahmadinejad and other leaders from the Islamic world demanded a halt on Thursday to Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Gaza and weighed inclusion of Muslim forces in a future peacekeeping operation. Spinning through the channels tonight, I watched 20 seconds of the Wallace interview. I feel sorry for Mike, he has lost it and should never have this interview.

He was duped and he has no clue.

In this image made available by CBS News, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, right, talks to American reporter Mike Wallace at the Presidential Palace in Tehran Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006 for a '60 Minutes' report broadcast Sunday Aug. 13. Twenty-seven years after a chilling sit-down with Ayatollah Khomeini that was one of Wallace's most memorable, the CBS newsman snagged an interview this week with current Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran. If Mike Wallace was duped I think it was all-too-willingly. Yeah, he's a bit senile these days, but he's no stranger to being a useful idiot. I could easily see the guy interviewing the Ayatollah Khomeini back in the day. ....if he could.

I have no intention of watching 60 Minutes. I don't need to learn Ahmedinejad has a Teddy Bear side. He is the incarnation of complete evil. This suck up to the Iranian dictator is about as revealing as CBS' National Guard memo report, also aired on 60 Minutes and just as accurate.

NEVER FORGET THIS: Mike Wallace is responsible for getting Anwar Sadat assassinated.....and he is PROUD of it.

2. Mike Wallace said that if he knew that the enemy forces werwe over the next hill, he would NOT tell our soldiers....he said he's a reporter FIRST...and an AMERICAN second!!!!

Just those two things make Mike Wallace a VILE person.

"Today is the era of thoughts, dialogue and cultural exchanges.", but not in Iran. That is why he practices censorship and imprisonment of political dissidents.

Ahmadinejad Says Jewish Threat Must Be Countered

Speaking at an emergency meeting of Muslim leaders in Malaysia, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that “United action against the Jews is imperative if their plan for world domination laid out 100 years ago in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is to be thwarted. We must rid the world of this sub-human filth by any means possible if mankind is to be saved.”

"An immediate cease-fire must be implemented if the final solution to the Jewish problem in the Middle East is to be achieved,” Ahmadinejad told meeting attendees. “The Zionists are pounding our Muslim brothers. We need time to regroup and rearm if the destruction of Israel is to be accomplished. The infidel dupes in Europe and America must be induced to restrain Israel before it is too late."

Ahmadinejad said Iran is planning an emergency shipment of weapons to Hezbollah, but needs extra time due to the infrastructure damage in Lebanon done by Israeli forces.

In related news, Iran has announced that should the UN attempt to punish their nation for its illegal nuclear program, the entire population will be summarily executed. “They will have the blood of over 65 million people on their hands,” said Ahmadinejad. “When they understand how stern we are with our own people, they will think twice about insulting Iran. They will learn the hard way that we are a mighty nation.”

I saw the interview. Ahmedinejad doesn't have a Teddy Bear side. He was more of a blowhard. He went on and on and on despite Mike Wallace's attempts to get him to give him a straight answer about everything, especially about how the U.S. was trying to deny Iran's progress through peaceful nuclear energy.

The only thing Ahmedinejad was impressive about was continually changing the subject and not answering questions.

Meet the REAL Ahmedinejad, not the edited touchy-feely 60 Minutes version.

I haven't watched 60 minutes in years, but did watch tonight only because of the interview Wallace did with Sean Hannity a few days ago. In that interview, Wallace was practically gushing about what a great guy Ahmadinejad is. In his discussion tonight with Ahmadinejad, Wallace conveniently forgot to ask about Iran's nuclear program, their funding and arming of Hezbollah, his threat to wipe Israel off the map, etc. Talk about a softball interview!

I also found it interesting when Ahmadinejad said he feels bad that so many Americans don't have adequate health care. Now let's see: where have we heard that before?

Seriesly, Mike Wallace looked scared sh!tless during the interview.

Wallace said, "He's an impressive fellow, this guy. He really is. He's obviously smart as hell."

IMHO, he probably said that to prevent his own beheading.
