"Clark's still pissed off that he wasn't chosen to be Kerry's running mate in 04'."

Yes you're right. Those two lying snakes deserve each other. Weasely almost caused WW III in his mishandling of the Kosovo crisis when he ordered the Bristish General Jackson to confront the Russian advancing tanks before the Russians could get to Pristina. Jackson refused the order from Weasely saying he wasn't going to allow Weasely's arrogance and stupidity to plunge the world into war.

Republicans seized on the arrests of terrorism suspects in Britain yesterday to bolster a White House campaign to turn national security issues to their advantage this fall, arguing that the nation needs tough Republican policies to protect Americans from threats from abroad.

National security issues?

Like the TSA's solution to take Grandma's hand lotion out of her bag in the interest of national security, while lip service is paid to the gaping holes in our border and port security?

Beam me up! (thanks to Jim Trafficant)

Will security be an issue this fall? You bet it will.

The funny thing about this article is that it tells the TRUTH about this war. The Republicans are on top of the security situation or trying to be. This actually MAKES the Dems look bad if you ask me.

Happened too early. Lazy days of August. Not as good as October.

No it's better that it happened now ... if all of this had gone down in October it would be attributed to 'suspicious timing' and Carl Rove's evil genius.

VERY early on....Hillary more or less endorsed Clark in 2004...and then withdrew it. Thought she would use him as her VP Pawn because of his Military background.

In all talk about her, absolutely no one has suggested who would be her VP.

There ain't no way that this society is going to give her the title of "Commander & Chief" after all we've been through. She's simply "not qualified".

I love how Rove also apparently controls the security services of the UK, Pakistan, and Italy.

There can be NO SECURITY unless and until the Southern Borders of this country are secured, not to mention ports and airports (cargo and immigration entry procedures). This is not a clear GOP vs. Democrat issue. We have had nearly six years to clean up this frikkin mess.

What is missing from all these articles is that wiretaps played a crucial role in the arrest of these"southeast asians" as the slimes likes to call them.

What is so hard to understand?

We the gentlefolk of the formerly Christian West, alongside our new allies in Israel, are engaged in another chapter of the millenial struggle against Islam. Hezbollah ain't about rocket science.

OK, it is just plain embarassing to be anti-any religion for us sophisticates. However, I can deal with it, when many hundreds of millions of the members of this sect think it their Islamic duty to kill, enslave, or convert me, Al Franken, Bill Maher, and Ned Lamont.

In re: Islamic "moderates." They apparently want me usefully around, but really don't care that I would have no civil, or legal rights, that I would live under Sharia Law, that I would docilely pay my dhimmi tax, and then, equally docile, serve them in Paradise.

I am not describing a new phenomenon. Battle of Tours? Siege of Granada? Siege of Vienna? Battle of Lepanto? Crusades? Sudan? Kosovo? Ring any bells?

Democrats like this Ned Lamont don't seem to get that to be "Anti-War" when the foe so clearly wants you dead is just plain stupid. We have a 14-century history with Islam. The way to secure peace with Islam is no great mystery:
it is to every so often send very substantial numbers of Muhammed's Warriors to service the virgins in their Happy Hunting Grounds; enough so that they will not attack until they renew their generations. Just the way it is on this planet.

We, and now the Israelis, are 'merely' doing civilization's normal maintenance. Surely, the fight is tougher now than ever before. Flush with our oil money, the worthy oriental gentlemen have equipped themselves with excellent weapons sold to them by other anti-western powers and have discovered how to use our weaknesses against us.

Onward Christian (and Jewish) Soldiers! ¡Santiago y a ellos!

The cartoon below was valid for the 2004 elections, and we can make it even more important for the 2006 and 2008 elections.

Wasn't Clark fired/replaced as Supreme Allied Commander by Slick Willy?

Yes, Weasely was fired by the clintons, and then weasely came back home and became a clintonista, go figure. One has to be truly incompetent to have been fired by the grossly incompetent clinton maladministration.
