With the 2006 elections coming up it's time to man your pajamas again and get to work defeating the enemies of this country. The MSM, evil DUers and democrats.

While democrats celebrate Joe Lieberman's loss to Ned Lamont yesterday I would say not so fast.

Voters in Connecticut rejected three-term Sen. Joe Lieberman for a political newcomer in the nation's first major test of the depth of anger over the Iraq war. But Lieberman, undaunted, vowed to run as an independent against fellow Democrat Ned Lamont. "For the sake of our state, our country and my party, I cannot and will not let that result stand," he said of Tuesday's Democratic primary results. On Wednesday, leaders of the Democratic Party aim to make him change his mind - before Lieberman's camp files a petition to run as an independent, due by the afternoon. State leaders...

This is all going along with the master plan developed by Karl Rove and executed by Howard Dean.

New thread thanks, friend!!! Imus will be so pleased.

Channel surfing and noticed, Christopher Whitcomb has moved from MSNBC to CBS as their "terrorism analyst". In case you forget which "expert" talking head he is, think braggart, FBI sniper. http://www.bookreporter.com/authors/au-whitcomb-christopher.asp

at least Valerie Plame apologist Larry Johnson seems to have disappeared from the cable news roster of revolving door "experts".

My first thought on watching Chertoff and Gonzales and Mueller deliver this very serious warning, my first thought is of those missing Egyptian "students", wondering if there's a connection.

This is huge, and very scary, and I hope it wakes up some of the idiots so concerned with their own personal liberties.

Dana Priest on MSNBC is fullashit! just so you know. Even on a morning like this, she's on the air spewing her agendized, skewed wealth of information. Practically trying to debunk that this threat is necessacerily Al Queda inspired, and her reasoning is because there are so many dis-enfranchized Moslems living in Europe as opposed to here, and they aren't necessarily AlQueda connected.

"Mass murder on an unimaginable scale", definitely belittles the significance of Al Gore's global warming. He'll have to take a back seat for awhile, thank goodness. And have you noticed? Not a mention I've seen this morning of big, bad Israel attacking poor, beseiged people of Lebanon. Now might be a good time for Israel to get on with what they need to do.

I stayed with C-SPAN WJ after the news conference. The majority of dem callers flat out believe this is a plot by W and Blair.

I haven't seen Susan on C-Span for awhile, and her appearance is shocking. I mean, she used to be so darn cute. Looks like one of her front teeth is falling out.

That sounds grim but I have noticed she needs to hit the salad bar a little more often and maybe wash her hair. Of course I need to be a little more familiar with the salad bar and I just wish I had a little more hair.

I stayed with c-span too, lp. The callers say BUSH(and Blair and Israel) DID IT!

Now they are on assymetrical (guerilla) warfare.

I believe LBJ, with about six degrees of separation, had JFK hit, but for folks to believe the kinds of giant conspiracies about 9-11, that would have to involve hundreds if not thousands of people, is just nuts.

"--- missing Egyptian "students",

My first thought, also - they have picked up some but not all, at least the last I heard. Haven't heard anything this morn --- news said they were 'exchange students' wondered if that still means the same.

Great minds think like, and I believe you are right on.
There is no way that 9-11 could have been that kind of giant conspiracy.
As for LBJ and JFK, I saw the LIES as they were happening, from the grassy knoll to the Doctors and Nurses backing off their original (and true) story that weekend. They (he) would never have gotten away with it now that we have the internet! I am stil furious about the JFK hit (even though I voted for RMN in 1960), because THE GOVERNMENT LIED TO ME/US. Before that, I believed and trusted our govt. The joke was on me...Now I'm a cynic, re govt.

Although LBJ probably had to put things in motion and had the most to gain, I have never been able to get my mind off of MG Edwin A. Walker. Other than some of the mobsters who felt betrayed by the Kennedys, Walker is the only person who probably hated JFK as much as LBJ did.

You'll always read that Walker was fired as the CG of the 24 ID and forced to retire because he had been "preaching pro-blue" to the troops. I've come to believe that it was just cover for something else. At one point, after Nov 22nd, Walker was picked up on a morals charge. I think he was soliciting in a men's restroom or something like that. What if he had "tendencies" while he was in the Army? It would have been easier to force him out if he had been confronted with evidence, but it wouldn't have taken away from his hatred of JFK. We'll never know anything for sure now.

Harry Reid's statement today, blaming Bush for today's terrorist threat in England, is so outrageous, I'm betting it will backfire on him, upping Bush's poll numbers.

Here's Harry Reid's absurd statement:

WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid released the following statement on the British terror plot:
"I commend British authorities for defusing this terror plot and apprehending the suspects. Their actions protected the lives of innocent civilians, including many American citizens. Today's events are an important reminder that we need to renew our focus on the war on terror and to continue to work with our allies to protect Americans from terrorism.

"Terrorism remains the greatest threat to our security. As the five year anniversary of the September 11th attacks approaches, we should take this opportunity not just to remember, but to take stock of what progress has been made to protect Americans and what steps remain unfulfilled. As a result of mismanagement and the wrong funding priorities, we are not as safe as we should be and we still have not implemented the bipartisan 9-11 Commission's recommendations to secure our ports, airports, and chemical plants. The Iraq war has diverted our focus and more than $300 billion in resources from the war on terrorism and has created a rallying cry for international terrorists. This latest plot demonstrates the need for the Bush administration and the Congress to change course in Iraq and ensure that we are taking all the steps necessary to protect Americans at home and across the world."

And here's Ken Mehlman's response:

WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The following release was issued today by the Republican National Committee:

Earlier today, Senator Harry Reid and Senator John Kerry attacked the administration's efforts in the War on Terror. Below is a response from RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman.

"On a day when American authorities are working with our allies to stop a global terror plot, instead of focusing on political attacks, we should focus on the fact that we are at war and need every tool to win the War on Terror. If Harry Reid had his way and killed the Patriot Act and ended the Terrorist Surveillance Program, authorities would be less able to uncover terror plots. If John Kerry had his way and we surrendered Iraq to the terrorists, Islamic jihadists would be strengthened and even more dangerous in the future. The main lesson of today is America needs to continue working with our allies and stay on the offense in the Global War on Terror."
