No tank is invulnerable for long. With every advance in armor an advance in anti-armor weapons is close behind. This has been going on from day one of human warfare and will undoubtedly continue until the end. Maybe yes, maybe no. Battleships have all but disappeared. Perhaps nanoengineered armor will maintain the dominance of the tank.
