And he's not a lawyer!!!

I would love to see Katherine Harris in the same pose with a Ruger Blackhawk in her hand.

Thanks for the ping!

But is he pro-motocyclist rights?

Will he keep Florida Statute 316.211 the way it is?

Florida Motorcyclists want to know.

(riders vote)

The governor does not create or "keep" statues.. but it is a fair question.. I will forward to the campaign and see if he takes a position on that.. I have been please by the responsiveness of the Gallagher campaign when asked to take a position.. in contrast I have been very disappointed by the Crist campaigns failure to take a position on just about everything...

It is a serious issue, governors sign laws (or don't sign them and let them become laws without a veto)

Changing 316.211 was a hard fought and dedicated effort.

I agree it is important to know where a candidate stands, and I have forwarded your request to him.

From Tom's 8/4 Notes From the Campaign Trail:

"One last thing, during a visit to Miami this week, I stopped by and spoke to the “Friends of NRA.” As a member of the NRA and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment it was a true honor to speak in front of the men and women who are making a difference in our communities by protecting our Second Amendment rights. I recognize that the right to bear arms is a fundamental right that guaranties the freedoms that we have."

Responses from Gallagher team for position statements have made my support for him even stronger.. I am very disappointed in the lack of position responses from the Crist team..

Thanks. I'm waiting to catch flak from someone reading it quickly and thinking I'm trashing Tom. But it seems fitting.

I have been waiting for two weeks for my answer to the 2nd Amendment question. Glad it FINALLY came out but that was a gaping hole for quite a while. Actually, this still isn't on the "policy" or "on the issues" web pages at tg2006.com. Come on, Tom, get your staff on the ball. You didn't borrow them from Katherine, did you? :)

I got that one.. and posted it... he is running a very weak campaign with the "I have not taken a position on that" response to many policy questions

He never mentioned it in his Senate race with Martinez if you remember, but he certainly is now. He would have beat Mel if he had done so IMHO.

I think the only way we are going to take this country away from the RINOs is if we start voting non-lawyer only.

I'm for Gallagher all the way.
