Fascinating stuff:

For the latest on the authors’ experiments on melanoma, see “Nanosecond Pulsed Electric Fields Cause Melanomas to Self-destruct,” by Richard Nuccitelli et al., Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 5 May 2006, pp. 351–60.

Back when the late first Mrs. B had melanoma ( Clark level high four, only level 5 is worse ) the great hope was immunotherapy- make a vaccine out of the patient's ( and others ) cancer cells, and get the immune system to "type" on it and kill it.

It worked- for a while...

This certainly looks promising, although only time will tell.

Sorry to hear about your first wife. I really hate cancer. It's a horrible disease.

I really believe medical researchers are on the verge of any number of amazing discoveries, from a cure for all kinds of cancer, to diabetes and heart disease, even aging. I hope we all live long enough to see it.
