Reuters is re-spinning yesterday's unattributed remark from a "defense official", and further stretching that report to imply that the soldiers *knew* the victims were "unarmed civilians", which was not in yesterday's report.
I wonder if a memeber of the Senate Armed Services Commitee could be considered a "defense official"....
