Clearly Murtha has been the recipient of some very ineresting military contracts for his friends.

I'm afraid that Murtha has military connections who agree with his point of view. Certainly there are those in the Pentagon who hate the reformation that is being executed by Rumsfeld.

Name a Clinton political employee who is still in office. There isn't one. Your nasty comment notwithstanding, it is up to you to provide evidence of such. Otherwise, I will assume you are just typing whatever anti-Bush insult comes into your head.

I remember seeing him (Murtha) on T.V. with a look of disgust on his face saying "there was no EID".

Yes! I think I have that video in my "stack of stuff" although he always has that look of disgust, or was I looking in a mirror when I watched.

Hagee is part of the problem. There is no way the General ought to have been commenting on an issue under investigation. If he acknowledged anything more than the matter was being looked into, he broke the trust of his Marines.

The case had not been adjudicated and Hagee ought to have kept his mouth shut.

hagee has made some other comments about "showing how the corps can investigate if it has too.".... f'ing bull sh#t. If my men were sent out and I saw a good kill get investigated.... I'd be p#ssed off and depressed.

WTF is he thinking? If discipline is breaking down that badly or training isn't good enough then we need to pull that unit out and get the NCO's and officers up to snuff. Cause there is very little chance that this was the doing of one rogue outfit.... I just have to believe that this would be platoon wide and company wide lack of discipline.

What do any other Marines think?.... specifically those that have been outside the wire and fighting.... a whole unit just doesn't "freak out"... it starts with lack of control, or so I've thought.

Our guys have enough cr#p to worry about than some lame bs from our side. This is a world wide guerrilla war. Civilians are gonna die if the enemy hides with or besides them. They want that in order to demoralize our side and the general populace.

All this legal wrangling is straight out of the play book, by using our "system" against us and weakening us.

I think that we are in a world wide low intensity guerrilla war and that due to our system of liberality and tolerance that we may eventually lose. Even now if the islamo-facist completely destroyed an American city, killing tens of thousands of civilians, we would have the liberals and the Euro-weenies blaming us and making sure we don't "overreact".

Notice how the lesbonese casualties are called "civilian casualties", while Israeli deaths are "Israeli casualties"... no age or if they are kids....

I didn't get to watch the hearings yesterday but it has been reported that a general commented that he had never seen such fighting as in Iraq....in his 35 years in the military.

Well, I guess if you are pushing pencils in the Pentagon that would be true.

But there was a civil war in Viet Nam, there was a civil war in Korea too. People fighting each other within country.

That statement by the general just made me sick.

How Rumsfeld puts up with this $hip is beyond me........and don't pardon my french.

I am just beyond sickened by these media whores who testify against our objectives.
