This reads just like all the other articles urging us to not defend ourselves.
Too expensive, benefits Big Corporations, won't work, the "international community" disapproves, destabilizing.
Who in the international community is ticked off? Andorra? Sardinia? Mauritania?
Costs too much- without mentioning how much it would cost.
Won't work- well, other interceptors work, but they MUST have cheated because we already said they would not work, so any successful demo is a hoax perpetrated by the corporations of the Industrial War Complex or Haliburton or something.
Brilliant Pebbles will work better than THAAD or Standard or a space-based laser. The boost phase is eliminated or shortened.

The more defenses the better.
Also, the more offenses the better. A good pre-emptive strike against North Korea, say fifty or sixty small nukes, and a sternly worded warning to the Islamofascists of the world would stop a whole lot of the terrorist nonsense.
