Is the Pennsylvania freeper crew a big group? Are they all on your PING list?

I don't know if they're a big list or not. Only people who have requested to get on the Irey/Murtha ping list are on it. Hopefully some of those who are PA residents pass info on to others. Although I wouldn't bet money on it.

This is great news.....and I know many Vets & their supporters (including me) who are planning to attend the October Rally:
FReeper FRiends:
Veterans and supporters of our troops from all over the nation are expected to pour into Johnstown, PA in October to show their outrage at the treasonous comments made by Rep. John Murtha about our troops.

Thanks for the ping. Things are building in positive direction by all indications. As more people are able to provide information on how this guy operates to the voters, perhaps, more people will think a bit when they go to the polls this november.
Smart campaigning is in order, that is for sure. One must somehow not appear nasty, and playing dirty politics but reach out to those that can reason.
Surely this rally will go a long way to further provide the public on just who John Murtha really is. Let us hope they are totally successful.
Gotta hit the rack. Work, work work.

I'm in for the rally......not sure it's worth the trip for the announcement....
My Excursion seats 6 + the driver.....comfortably. Heck, we could probably drop in at PSU Altoona to harass my daughter...as an extra added bonus for the day!

"Hopefully some of those who are PA residents pass info on to others. Although I wouldn't bet money on it."
Yes, I'll pass it along tomorrow to folks that I know. :) In fact, I'll try to show up on Thurs., although I can't promise. Some of us are "dancing as fast as we can", irl, folks, but we're doing what we can, when we can. :) Fortunately, Mrs. Irey seems to be running a highly intelligent campaign geared to "what works" in this district. :)
I don't think I can convey just how unprecedented and monumental this little "press conference" is, but it's indicative of the growing realization that Mrs. Irey is indeed capable of winning the 12th. :)

Indeed they are. :)
"As more people are able to provide information on how this guy operates to the voters, perhaps, more people will think a bit when they go to the polls this november."
For the first time in 30 years, voters have a credible candidate running against Murtha. It's easy to "win" when you have no opposition. I'm thrilled to *finally* be able to cast a vote for "congressional representable" rather than have to skip over that portion of my ballot.

John O'Neill?
That's GREAT!
I hope he will help Swift Boot

Johnstown is in the south / southwest central part of the state about 2 hours out of Pittsburgh right along the PA Turnpike.

Mo1 saw the thread and posted a link on the PA page but it didn't stir any talk on the page, nor here for that matter. I am going to try to make it along with a few others but I'm not sure yet that we can make it.
