He was no major, he was Jerry Sienfeld's and George Costanza's high school phys-ed coach.
If that is indeed what he actually said, I agree with you.
He might be. Anyone that cultivates what grows wild...well, I'll pass on a cheaper shot.
Insofar as tactics and fighting spirit, the sentiment Mr. Bevelacqua expressed is not new. Recall it being expressed in '73 or so.
