Nobody is talking about amnesty with the Pence plan

Sorry, Pence's plan is amnesty. His plan would change the law to allow criminal aliens to get a guest worker visa. Changing the law to accommodate a group of criminals is amnesty.

Any guest worker program will include, first and foremost, those already here, since they know the jobs. It would make no sense to exclude them.

I see the same posters coming back again and again claiming Pence amnesty is not amnesty. Each time the claim is completely and thoroughly debunked. What gives? Are we dealing with his office staff here?

LOL, yep, it's really difficult to train dishwashers, housekeepers, groundskeepers, waiters, ect..

Currently, there are hundreds of millions of folks around the world that could do all the jobs the criminal aliens are doing and they have never broken our laws.

Your argument is a fallacy. Just say your for amnesty and be done with it.

At least one of them is. The others are just part of the pro-illegal lobby.

I am not for amnesty. I favor Mike Pence's guest worker program. It is fair, and it insists on border enforcement first.

Mike Pence's guest worker program is amnesty.

It is fair

It's the opposite of fair. Reward a group of criminals is not fair and never will be.

and it insists on border enforcement first.

Another fallacy. It insists the DHS Commissioner state the border is secure. He can do that a will, regardless of whether or not the border is secure.

They keep their jobs after a short trip across the border. Employers get to keep hiring them. And when the visa is up, they can choose whether to leave or not. It's amnesty no matter how you spin it.

". . . after a short trip across the border"

They won't do that. And they won't pay a fine. They won't learn English and they won't `get in line' with law-abiding applicants.
Why should they when they see US immigration law has no `teeth'?

But they will take the amnesty. Then we will face another wave of illegal aliens from Mexico who comprende that 1.) the streets are paved with gold, and 2.) wink, wink, nudge nudge: play the game and in a few years, the Comprehensive Immigration Act of 2026 in which proponents of a "path to citizenship" will give the `new' invaders amnesty.
But until then, free hots and a cot, medical care, even a retirement plan, compliments of 'Tio Sucar' (Uncle Sugar) and in the meantime, criminal carte blanche with all you can steal and lots of walls, overpasses and buildings to deface.

Even if Congress does pass legislation to free up funds to pay for border enforcement, the President will refuse to enforce the law and then the money is just wasted anyway. The President is the problem on this issue.

The President is the problem on this issue.

I agree. It is one reason that my funding the RNC came to an abrupt halt.

There are law enforcement officials scattered about, who are attempting to control illegal immigration using trespassing laws, smuggling laws, etc.

But it is Strong Leadership in Washington that is sorely needed on this issue.
