Par for the Nobel Peace Prize course. Consider Arafat and ElBaradei. One was a terrorist who killed thousands and the other got the prize for stopping nuclear proliferation (and what a whiz-bang job he did.)

Well, maybe once a decade the Nobel Committee awards the Peace Prize to someone who actually deserves it

The Nobel Peace Prize over the past 30 years....has turned into more of a joke than an honor. The amusing thing...is that I can go across to 1 million Americans....and less than 20,000 can name more two guys who ever won the peace prize. Teddy Roosevelt will be one of those that they name....and that really shows the value of the award. I can make the same request of any German...and will be lucky if they do any better than two names.

Don't forget that ultimate appeaser - Jimmuh Carter - who got it only because he speaks out against Bush on foreign soil and he never met a tyrranical dictator he didn't like - good enough for the Nobel Appease Prize!

I suspect every Nobel winner. By definition they are wing-nuts.
