Pay No Attention to That “Inconvenient War”

The infiltration of The Fifth Column goes further than the simple act of two disgruntled political has-beens filing a nuisance lawsuit against an administration faced with the possibility of an escalating global conflict.

In a letter to the president, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Peter Hoekstra (R-MI) expressed his concern about the affect of The Fifth Column inside the Central Intelligence Agency.

In the letter he stated he has long been, “concerned that a strong and well-positioned group within the agency intentionally undermined the administration and its policies,” and that the dissident faction had taken over the CIA. The congressman alluded to the idea that this “dissident faction” had been quite successful in politicizing the agency, suggesting that they were responsible for the alarming number of instances of leaked classified information currently surfacing in the mainstream media.

Even on Capitol Hill, the affects of The Fifth Column can be seen.

And just as our nation has no more time for the narcissistic stylings of Joe Wilson and Val Plame, so too do we have no more time to waste on The Fifth Column, their ignorance and their arrogance.

Joe and Val will fade with time. It just takes so long to happen.

Clinton filled the CIA and Dept of "Justice" with hundreds of democrat party hacks and lowlifes. Bush failed miserably, refusing to clean out these vermin. We all suffer greatly as a result.

My first response is duh! Why did it take so long for the DC elites to figure this out? Talk radio hosts like Rush and Hannity have been saying this since Bush was first elected. Time to clean house and bring charges against traitors. Make an example of what happens to anyone that plots against our country for their own power and ego. This is astounding and reprehensible.

Maybe, and I wouldn't doubt that there are more than a few Clinton planted liberal traitors in it working against this administration.

"Does anyone else think that the CIA is spying AGAINST us?"

I think the suggestion is that there are some, not all, people in the CIA working against America.

They are the Clintonistas and they are imbedded in the CIA. No one makes a move to eject them so what do they expect.

Upon taking office, Slick Willie fired all 50 state attorney generals. No other President has ever done that and probably none ever will again.

"...This is astounding and reprehensible."

Yes it is, but you will find that nothing will happen, the administration is filled with cowards. When was the last time that anyone was prosecuted for similar violations?

Meanwhile, our troops pay the price for such traitors with their very blood and in the larger sense, our country as well.

If by us, you mean Republicans, Yes. If by us you mean all of America, I cant say. If it is the fifth columnists divulging secrets to news media I would say the evidence is pretty strong they are working against America. Although they may believe they are helping the democrats against the Bush administration, they are actually giving aid and comfort to our enemies as some in Congress and the senate are doing openly---and getting away with it.

IMO, these outrages will continue until the American people say "no more." Use the Israelis as an example. They have gonads and have said no more and attacked their enemies. We have enemies within as well as outside our country. Americans better wake up like yesterday!

When the GOP won Congress in 1994, the new committee chairmen kept the decades old staffers that had worked under rat chairmen for decades. Wanna guess where their loyalty was?

Apparently "bad mouthing" your employer is fashionable in the CIA as well as other government/welfare agencies.
