It is only a matter of time, then, until they recreate the Neanderthal. Will they be considered human or sub-human? What rights, if any, will they be afforded? This has been one of sci fi's biggest nightmares.

I think, instead of "Neaderthal," we call the created beings "Zetas" or perhaps, "cylons." They both have a nice ring.
