The sneaky dirty little secret is that the town is taking this land for 'green acres' so they can turn over other land designated for that purpose....to a developer.
So now money and land are fungible. I wonder if you could make a good case in court that there is a coordinated pair of actions intended to benefit one private party at the expense of another. A corrupt conspiracy of politicians and developers.
