I wish I could understand just what it is these folks want. Doesn't Plame already have a book deal?
They want to be in the media limelight as often as possible, just like Crazy Cindy. But don't forget, their privacy and personal security are so important to them!
Actually I read that Plame's deal hadn't quite been done, and had taken quite a hit in light of the announcement that Rove would not be indicted. So the civil suit can be seen as an attempt to gin up interest and improve the book deal.
My guess is that their every move is being orchestrated by the DNC. They know they can't win the lawsuit, but if they can just get Rove, Cheney, or Libby to admit to something improper or unethical, the Dems will be in a state of euphoria.
Right now, since it appears that their suit is a losing proposition, I would have to assume that what they want is to keep this in the news in hopes that it will favor the democRATs in the fall elections.
This is typical Demrat/garbage politics. .
Do wish Repubs had a scenario to put these people out of their misery. . .find reason to sieze their phone records etc. . .and just see who calls them at the end of the day and says 'Good Job'. . .
No doubt, they know. . .but would make good 'copy' nonetheless. . .
From another thread...Following hubbys lead, the newly retired Plame wallowed out of the funk her lack of professional opportunities inspired to accept a $2.5 million book deal with Crown Publishing. When this deal fell through, she settled on an unspecified contract with Simon & Schuster. This new contract was announced the same day as the lawsuit: Thursday.
