Freep this poll. Another fine example financing the liberal left money spenders with a sin tax.

I think Cleveland has all the culture it can manage right now...

Well it has the Indians, Browns, Cavs and the Rock and Roll hall of Fame.
If you consider that culture?

IF they want to ban this legal substance...just don't tax it into submission. Get the people behind making it an illegal substance...or leave it and the people who use it alone.

This is the continuation of the same of "tax the crap out 'em" syndrome of the Left....
Now, rather than admit it is another "tax" to redistribute wealth and assign it to whatever Liberal-cause-dujour is decided my the Liberal Elite, we have lawsuits like the Big Tobacco Suit, suits for "discrimination", the "Reparations for slavery" issue, along with the soon-to-come "Fat Tax" on fast foods, to effectively tax the populace (consumers), while appealing as a non-tax to some select groups.
Evidently, with the lack of intelligence in the Democrat-voter base, they think somehow we're gonna "get those rich bastards and BIG BUSINESS" or "the rich", to appropriate their money for OUR benefit is the mantra that has enough voting power to pass this crap.
Erosion of individual responsibility and dependence upon the Socialist State is being passed off on fools who see the Government as the only way to get something for nothing, funded by OTHERS.

IF they want to ban this legal substance...just don't tax it into submission. As Rush has said on many occasions making tobacco illegal is the last thing they want to do.

Working for a living does not enter into the thought process of the entitlements crowd.... They make huge noises about wanting to make taxes fair by making income taxes more progressive, making the rich pay more.
Then when they have the poor paying next to nothing they come along and propose taxes like these that are as regressive as they come.
Sin taxes always will hit the poor hardest of any tax because the rich dont sin anymore than the poor (probably considerable less).

I get the feeling that the left isn't paying much attention to this site.
But that's OK we can mess with the WKSU web master anyway.
