I got my fingers crossed... what has been done so far hasn't solved the problem by a longshot.

Ynet is now reporting that the strike was on the Lebanese side of the border, not the Syrian side:

IDF: Air Force struck on Lebanese side of Syria-Lebanon border

The IDF said that IAF jets struck bridges and roads on the Lebanese side of the Syria-Lebanon border.

Earlier eyewitnesses reported that the IDF hit targets on the Syrian side of the border. (Hanan Greenberg)

(07.15.06, 16:35)

First reports are often inaccurate, especially when they come from the media-savvy, ever victimized Arab "eyewitnesses."

The good news is this is a start. The bad news is it's not enough to impact the longterm war on terror. Take it to Damascus.
