not good news about the deployment of Patriot missile batteries to Hafia, means they expect incoming ballastic missiles, which could spell Syrian or Iranian intervention

CNN is working on putting up a map that shows real time or recent strike locations. Will be up soon. Karl can you or someone capture it?

CNN reporting northern Lebanon port town of Jouniah also under attack. Tripoli and Jouniah have historically had large Christian populations, so I'm a little puzzled (Hezbollah leadership trying to escape?)

None of the above. Hizbullah has longer range rockets/missiles than earlier thought

So when the report says "katyusha" they mean missile in a generic sense. Could they be the same type of "Fajr" missile that hit Haifa day before yesterday, the ones where the warheads shoot bullets?

Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh presented his fellow Arab League members with a draft resolution condemning Israel's military offensive and supporting Lebanon's "right to resist occupation by all legitimate means."

also said the Arab League demanded the release of Lebanese captives and detainees in Israeli prisons, and supported Lebanon's right to "liberate them by all legitimate means."

Sounds an awful lot like Hezbollah and Lebanese officials and the Arab League are interchangeable groups doesn't it

this is worth repeating:
(ynetnews)

Iraq PM denounces Israel over Lebanon, Gaza

Iraq's US-backed government denounced Israel's "Criminal" raids on Lebanon and Gaza and the

prime minister warned of the risk of an escalation of violence.

In a rare public foray into affairs beyond its borders, the premier's office said in a statement: "Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki denounces the Israeli raids on Lebanon and warns of the consequences of escalation in the region. (Reuters)
