You know that's a very holy city right (others Jerusalem, Hebron and Tiberias)? It has a part in many teachings of things to come and it has been said that the messiah will come from Safed on his way to Jerusalem... at the final redemption. Not good...

I had not heard of the Messiah coming from there. I was aware of the Messiah entering the temple mount through the sealed Eastern Gate - do you have a Scripture reference (sincerely asking not being snarky)
Also my understanding is the tribulation or the time of Jacob's trouble will precede the Messiah's appearance (I believe the rapture happens first, but that happens in the air, not on earth)
But whatever your beliefs these are very scary or exciting times. Even though I looks for the coming of Christ, I weep for the death and destruction that is upon us.
