http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | Samaira Nazir was brutally and needlessly murdered. The 25-year-old in Southall, England, was killed in April of last year by her 30-year-old businessman brother all in the name of "honor." He stabbed her, cutting her throat in front of his young children, ages 2 and 4.
Samaira had turned down family arrangements for marriage and ultimately fell for another man, an Afghan her family said was from the wrong lower caste. As a prosecutor put it, "It would appear she lost her life for loving the wrong man." Her brother, appropriately, has been found guilty of murder, and is facing the prospect of life in prison. And the good news, if it can be called "good," is that you're reading about Samaira and her story. Her name lives on and makes headlines. And in her memory, we'll keep any veil from covering the next time this happens until, finally, there is no next time for these "honor killings" that are anything but honorable.
We'll remember, too, Ghazala Khan, who was shot dead in a town west of Copenhagen, Denmark, this past September, by her brother, just two days after her wedding. Her death won't go unpunished, either: Both her brother and her father, along with other family members (six in total were all involved in the planning of the murder, which had been ordered by her father) are now in jail for their crime.

If "moderate" Muslims weren't just an urban legend, we would have heard from them by now.
On another note, I found an interesting site. http://stophonourkillings.com/index.php
Some excerpts:
The case of five minor girls given in marriage to resolve a tribal dispute has been frozen by Pakistan's Supreme Court. The girls, Aamna, 5; Bashiran, 2; Shehzadi, 6; Meerzadi, 2, and Noor Bano, 3 were to be handed over to their husbands upon reaching puberty to resolve a feud caused by an honour killing which happened over ten years ago.
The court was also informed about a simillar case in Shikarpur where a jirga ordered Heer, 9, and Karima, 1, to be married to Imdad Sethar, after their father failed to pay for eleven buffaloes he had bought from him.
Two minor girls who had been given in marriage to elderly men by a recent jirga to settle a karo-kari dispute heaved a sigh of relief on Thursday when a Pir Jo Goth court sent them to a Darul Aman.
The Ahmedpur police enforced the courts orders by arresting five of the 14 suspects booked for seeking to implement the jirgas decision by kidnapping nine-year-old Shakila and 10-year-old Bashiran in the early hours of Tuesday.
There were also several cases of (dis)honor killings in Denmark reported there.
Well I hope they throw in a few goats and sheep to sweeten the deal.........
Pity the poor unfortunate girls who must grow up amidst such a bestial, yes BESTIAL, way of life that treats them as lower than cattle.........
Honor to these Muslims is like dishonor among decent people.
These people are truly sick and demented.
