I thought the real and truthful news coming is that there was no "COVER UP" but some negligence of handling and investigating the matter. The liberal media is going to eat crow, as usual, about this whole Haditha matter.

You have to get halfway through the article before you come to this paragraph:

"What some of these people did wrong is certainly not illegal or criminal, but administratively their actions are something that Gen. Chiarelli wants to look at," the official said.

Doesn't quite match the inference of the headline, does it.

Now this spin. Boy oh boy. Don't we go through the same paces EVERY time. Abu Gharib, body armor, Marine executing Iraqi's, now this.....

Expect ANY story like this to have lots of conspiracy and "cover up" stories surrounding it. Just accept it as a reality of how our MSM operates.

A Marine Corps general has reportedly found evidence of negligence, but no coverup, in the investigation of an alleged massacre of Iraqi civilians. Citing two unnamed officers in the U.S. Defense Department, The New York Times reported Friday that Lt. Gen. Peter Chiarelli -- the second-ranked commander in Iraq -- found no evidence of a deliberate coverup by Marine officers who investigated the alleged massacre at Haditha in November 2005.

The liberal media is going to eat crow, as usual, about this whole Haditha matter.

Not likely; since they control the flow of information to their media, they will simply fail to report that they have been proven wrong. So, if you don't read blogs or watch Fox News, you'll never hear about it.

His investigation also may consider whether any criminal charges should be brought.

Ah yes, another unnamed military official speaking anonomously and the media painting the darkest possible outcome with a broad brush. The glass is not half empty, it's only a few drops from being dry.

We still have talk radio shows as well that reach tens of millions of people and most of them are on our side. The defeated and treasonous liberal media does not have the monopoly anymore and that one more reason why there are so full of hate and rage.

Does negligence in this case mean not following all rules to the letter? Even so, that is a far cry from coverup and even farther from "cold blooded murder" ala Murtha.
