Rush has already mentioned the other ailment he was using the pills for (something intestinal or something).
L-Dopa will give you a raging hard on too (Jim Bakus wrote of this) but it is used to treat Parkinson's Disease.
Wasn't there some heart medication that was remarketed for erectile disfunction?
Jim Backus? "Oh MaGoo you've done it again!"
"Wasn't there some heart medication that was remarketed for erectile disfunction?"
Yes, viagra.
Viagra was originally created as heart medication.
I thought I heard a comment about intestinal blockage.<P<Not positive as the radio is on as background noise for the most part.
Didn't the Germans invent RU-486 as a cancer treatment?
I wasn't listening closely, but I thought he said there were 2 other prescriptions (in his name) he was asked about which were prescribed for an intestinal blockage.
Viagra was originally prescribed for hypertension. Erections were a side effect of the drug.
It reminds me of a joke that goes something like this...
An elderly gentleman goes to see his doctor and asks for a prescription of viagra. The doctor expresses concern about the mans age and doesn't think it is a good idea. The elderly man then asks what if I only take half? The doctor says I don't think that will be effecitve in allowing you to have an erection for sex. The man said, Sex?... I don't want to have sex, I just want me penis to stick out far enough that I don't pea on my slippers"...
Hope this doesn't get removed... Not to saucy...
