Front Runner? I seriously doubt it.

An interesting read and inside look at McPain's lack of tollerance for those who disagree or refuse to support him on, whatever.

When he denounced the Swift Boat Vets and accused them of being "dishonest and dishonorable" and attacked John O'Neil's Book "Unfit for Command" BEFORE it was even released and in an interview, basically told the rest of us Vietnam Vets to shut up in our criticism of his good bud, The Snake Kerry, he angered many of us beyond belief.

In addition, his role on the Committee (again with Kerry)re: the POW/MIA issue as well as his having been responsible for removing a provision for normalizing relations with Vietnam to insure human rights, leave much to be desired.

It is possible (considering he is the darling of the MSM) that he could end up with the nomination and then, many of us would have a very difficult decision to make about who and how to vote.

Enough about temperment. McLame is a flaming liberal. That should be enough to disqualify him.

McCain doesn't have the votes, nevermind the temperment.

Sorry, but we don't need a guy in the office of President, with his "finger on the button", who spent 2 years in solitary confinement. I was around a few of the returning POWs in the service, and I assure you, they are never normal again....

A President is expected to use profanity - it is a major policy tool, indispensable in matters both foreign and domestic. If a president did not use profanity, it would be a stuffed shirt and not a president.

McLame isn't fit to hold any elective office, IMO.

McCain is responsible for THE most irresponsible, undemocratic piece of legislation ever enacted in recent years.

Yep... John McCain completely lost me at that point.

When I read about how Kerry's record, that's indefensible in my book, was supported by McCain I wanted to wretch.

Then to have McCain trash alot of honorable vets told me enough that this guy doesn't deserve to be president. Anyone that would defend the indefensible is beyond contempt.

does McCain have the temperament to be president?

Let me be the first to say; NO WAY! Is there anyone out there who does support him?

The only way I could ever see myself voting Democrat is if it came down to McCain or Lieberman.

When Micheal Reagan interviewed McManiac during the 2000 campaign, McManiac displayed enough anger and irrationality to make it clear he was not Presidential material.

This article shows what's likely to happen if McCain gets the Pubbie nomination and one of the biggest reasons why the MSM is shilling for him. They shill for him because: 1) they like his position on many issues, CFR, for example, and, more important 2) they've got enough dirt on him so that they can destroy him if he gets the nomination, allowing the DemonRat nominee to pick the presidency up off the ground like a fallen apple. They'll dump more mental instability stories on him than any of us can even guess about if he gets the nomination.

In other words, he's a nutcase sure loser waiting to happen if we're dumb enough to nominate him.

My wife's family has been active in AZ politics and she knows McInsane and many who have worked for him. She thinks he is unstable, and many of his staff share that opinion.

From the article:

"...more recently, McCain said on Fox News, "You know, the French remind me a little bit of an aging actress of the 1940s who is still trying to dine out on her looks but doesn't have the face for it."

I don't see that particular remark as a problem!

I saw McCain during the debate in 2000. When the camera was not on him, he paced the stage and muttered to himself and looked so angry that the Mayor and Senator we were sitting with all noticed it and commented that he seemed deranged.

It has long been a Beltway secret that McCain doesn't have the mental stability to be president.

"Does He Have the Temperament to Be President?"

No, no, and H-E-double hockey sticks NO!!

(Makes you wonder what methods he used to get the "Gang of 14" to go along with him.)
