McCain-Feingold was given a passing mark of 5-4 by SCOTUS, along the usual Liberal-Conservative split but with O'Connor supporting it and Kennedy opposing it. A recent SCOTUS ruling on CFR in Vermont made it clear that Kennedy is firmly against CFR and would overturn McCain-Feingold. And Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito are with him on this.Thanks be to God!
McCain, like liberals, is opposed to the plain meaning of the First Amendment and wants to subvert it. Sooner rather than later, more rather than less.
