The person who should be bringing this up -- everytime a reporter mentions Gitmo or AbuGraib -- is our President. He needs to go on the offensive, unleash our military to finish this job and quit trying to play nice.
Agreed...but it is more Tony Snow's job to slap down the press. The POTUS has more important people to slap around, though, I would like to see him interrupt a press breifing before he leaves office and throw the arse clowns in the WH Press Corps a verbal beating with the facts...he can even draw a picture for the terminally ambivalent.

once the coroner's (?) report is finished as to how Pfc. Thomas Tucker and Kristian Menchaca were killed, hopefully the President will again forcefully draw that bright line for those who will not listen and will not see (thereby unavoidably aiding the terrorists) between what the Geneva Conventions cover and the loss of any standing this enemy has under the Conventions due to their uncivilized and outlaw conduct, while reiterating our determination to finish the mission.
