and you're just fine with the "pathway to citizenship" left in there for illegals. What's stopping foreigners from standing in line awaiting citizenship without going through the guest-worker rigoramore? What's the difference?

Actually, it's not...it's SHORTER than for those whose families / relatives are CURRENTLY applying legally for US citizenship. There's a FReeper around here who's step daughter has been going through hell for YEARS to come here legally. The FReeper married a lady from Russia.
By the way...can you give one compelling reason WHY any of these illegals should be granted the privilege of US citizenship?
