Much like our 2nd Amendment guarantee/right to keep and bear arms, and those congressmen who support and defend that right, I'll vote for any conservative candidate who will defend and enforce our immigration laws.
In other words, s/he can claim any label he wants but I will not vote for any senator supporting that travesty of a bill, or any congress critter, for that matter, who is willing to compromise on this issue.

What a weird bovine. It has upper teeth. Must be a cross between a horse and a cow.

The Speaker of the House in the end does not need a compromise with the Senate that becomes law to protect the Republican majority. After conducting months long field interviews on the public view of amnesty, take a vote on the following resolution: 'The House hereby resolves to demonstrate its commitment to border security and to our nation's national security. As such we strongly urge the executive and judicial branches of government to vigorously enforce existing law as passed previously by this body.' It would pass by majority vote and could be cited by Republican candidates during the campaign.

"Yep. And since the news about the
DNC passing the NRC in donation $$$,
I'm feeling kind of guilty about
telling them I wouldn't give one
more dime until they kill that
Amnesty Bill. If it's dead,
maybe I send off my contribution
now."

And don't forget. The money Bush recently raised is frrom the fat cat check pants GOP. Not the small donations from grassroots. It's unheard of for the party in power to be trailing the minority party.

Looks like the grassroots have spoken again

we can't afford a Dem victory in November

Why vote for either party anymore? They have practically merged into one, and few of them bother listening to their constituents who elected them.

Americans need to get behind a strong third party and tell the Republicrats to get lost.

Yes it is called a bullony. The wannabe prez contenders are not going to let Bush pass this stink bomb to them. Don't misoverestimate Rove. Meier's , Katrina , soc security reform, Ports deal and of course the judges that will never be confirmed , that we won't hear about. Finish off Iraq once and for all , and not by detaining the knuckle dragger's . Build the fence. Enjoy your ranch.

I agree!

Don't let anyone give you that "don't waste your vote" BS. It's wasting your vote when you vote for the lesser of two evils.

While it is true that the American political system is a two-party system, there's nothing that says the Demopublicans & Republicrats have to be those two parties. A pro-middle class, pro-national sovereignty party could take votes from both parties, and validate the de-facto collapse of the two current parties into one internationalist & elitist party.

One more thing to remember: the biggest political party in the US is the Non Voting Party. Any group that can reach the tuned-out middle class will prosper.

I've voted for the "lesser of two evils" several times and found that one is as stinking as the other. Like millions of other Americans, I won't ever make that mistake again. Both parties have failed America.

The Constitution Party has a good platform!

Three questions:

1. Can you cite a GOP equivalent to putting convicted scumbag criminal Alcee Hastings at the head of the House Intel Commitee?

2. What's your evidence for the Dems being the same as the GOP in the War on Terror?

3. Where's that "strong third party?"

Agree. That's who I voted for in 2004. Constitution Party is a wee bit too religious for my personal taste, but they will have my vote until something better comes along!

Three questions:

1. Can you cite a GOP equivalent to putting convicted scumbag criminal Alcee Hastings at the head of the House Intel Commitee?

How about asking Vincente Fox's permission to defend our borders? How about walking hand-in-hand (literally) with Saudi royalty? How about Dubai Ports deal? How about all the other ways the GOP is working to erase our nation's sovereignty?

2. What's your evidence for the Dems being the same as the GOP in the War on Terror?

If you believe that war can be waged - much less won - on an intangible like "terror," you're just as gullible as the libs who thought War on Poverty made sense. Terrorism is a natural condition of the world, like crime, poverty and disease. It can be managed, but not eliminated. Both parties are using GWOT as an excuse to eliminate our freedoms and rights -- like imaginary terrorist Emmanuel Goldberg in 1984.

3. Where's that "strong third party?"

Does not exist - yet. Good people must stop voting for the "lesser of two evils" and start creating the alternative.

The term "strong third party" is an oxymoron. Our system is designed to marginalize any "third" party in the long run. But there is nothing about the Two Party System that says you have to have the same two parties forever! It is completely possible to unite nationalists from both parties along with disaffected non-voters into a Party that could replace either Demopublicans or Republicrats (not sure which one is the weaker. Dems are currently looking pretty weak, but they do have demographics on their side.)
