Polish Military Police on mission in Congo
19.06.2006
A group of 31 Polish soldiers has departed from Wroclaw on a mission to the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are Military Police officers from Gliwice and Warsaw who are the first from among 130 Poles to be stationed there.
The MPs will be entrusted with securing the International Military Forces Command in Kinshasa as well as the airport in the capital. They will also cooperate with the EUPOL police mission. This is the first such Polish military mission in Africa.
Stupid mission.
(Hey, I'm just married...I'm not dead. )
I never get tired of all the cool photos of our friends in the Polish military. Thanks!
Why do you think it's stupid?
I have to apologize, but the photo with the little green minvan thing and all those soldiers around it just makes me think about the circus act and all the clowns piling out of the VW bug. Not to make fun of my own heritage...
May God keep them safe on their journey!
