Not to mention that we tend to distrust large groups, even if the group is us.Isn't that the truth. I pointed out to a co-volunteer that if there are a dozen conservative volunteers working on a project without strong leadership, they will be doing it 13 different ways.
She grinned at me and said "Yes, isn't it wonderful?"
If it weren't for one "super volunteer" who I suspect lives there and has the respect of us all, we'd never work together and get things done.
