A bit off-topic, but I'm curious to know if it would be effective to make a citizen's arrest of an illegal alien. Having read where at least one FReeper was involved in a wreck with an illegal, and the cop simply turned the guy loose, could a citizen's arrest have accomplished anything?

In the meantime, as tens of thousands of illegal immigrants stream across our borders, the INS is "enforcing" by preventing a Russian grandmother and grandfather from attending their granddaughter's wedding in the US.

I wouldn't advise it. I have known of people detaining illegals, they usually end up in a legal storm. Illegals have many groups protecting them and just looking for a reason to get PR for their cause. You will be charged with violation of civil rights or something like kidnapping and sued before it is over. The illegal will be coached to claim you did all sorts of things to him while you were detaining him. If you lose the illegal will get all of your possessions and if you win you will still be out a lot of legal fees.

Illegals are a very protected specie.

I totally agree, we can keep this alive by supporting the minutemen and taking the law into our own lawful hands. They always let them go. These are felonies that you or I could never get a way with. they have a MUCH larger race card then the Blacks, and they are not even a race. Just spanish speaking white people
