It is just another example of the long-running conflict between the U.N. and the U.S. over the role of the international body in issues related to national sovereignty. IMO the UN is a non-reformable institution that should be disbanded. It has a history of corruption that can be measured in billions of dollars. Its roots are communist, socialist, and marxist. Communists lie, cheat, steal, kill to implement their version of the world. Why do we even allow them in this country? Unfortunately, a number of our lawmakers (Democrats all) agree with them that we should have open borders and one world government!
