Thanks for posting this update. Being that this guy runs a pawn shop in Reno, probably not hard for him to acquire someone else's ID in exchange for whatever. He's probably gone, for good, never to be seen again in US territory. If the police mention that his high value highly portable merchandise is missing from his store, than the guy has fled and will probably never be found.

He should fry if he killed his ex. As for the rest of the story, well...

Worth $9.4 million, has a pilots license...

Yep, odds are he's sitting on the beach in some South American country. Seems like he planned this in advance, he probably already has his fortune and a home waiting for him in whatever country he's currently residing in. Maybe they should send that bounty hunter that caught the Max Factor heir that did the same thing a few years ago.

The judge should count his blessings as to the sniper's ignorance. The .223/5.56 bullet is a lousy choice when shooting through intervening glass.

Rep. Jim Gibbons, R-Nev., said Wednesday he has known Mack and his family for a long time.

"It was an absolute surprise," Gibbons said of the accusations. "But like anybody else, they all deserve their day in court. He's accused, but he's not guilty."

What is Gibbons smoking anyway? Mack has already had plenty of days in court. He doesn't deserve anything - except maybe death in a one-sided shootout with police. We can only hope. I doubt Gibbons is winning many votes by pointing out Mack is technically innocent until proven guilty. We can technically say that about the terrorist pig we just bombed to death in Iraq, too. But nobody would say that, except maybe Howard Dean.
