You're absolutely right. Unfortunately, I have a feeling he's going to become a martyr of the Bush Machine and write a book or two, make a few million (from sales overseas) and annoyingly (and Sheehanesquely) pop his ugly head into politics now and then.
If they actually do fire him (eventually) he'll make a fortune doing talk shows on TV and generally playing the all around mistreated martyr.
