Wal-Mart is a bad corporate citizen

Yeah, they don't even offer health care benefits to part-time workers. What a sweat shop. No wonder they only got 8,000 applicants to fill 350 jobs.

"No wonder they only got 8,000 applicants to fill 350 jobs."

How many of those 8000 are already employed, but would prefer working at Walmart?
I'm betting very few.

The large number of applicants clearly reflects the desperate straits of the destitute majority. More people might have applied, but they proved too badly weakened by starvation and disease to muster the strength to reach the application site. Others, living in utter obscurity, never heard the news. And tens of thousands more will lose their jobs when this Wal-Mart forces businesses to close. Bush, of course, personally caused all of the suffering mentioned in this diatribe.

This message brought to you by the Democratic National Committee and approved by Howard Dean.
