I think Ann sometimes makes statements that cannot be excused. I don't think she wins undecided people over. I think she preaches only to the choir, and I don't see the value in that.

However, I part company with some here in that I don't hate Ann. I don't care about her appearance or her marital status. Also, I don't think people who are fans of Ann are stupid, or ignorant, or ill-informed. I just choose to disagree with them on this issue.

Look, I stood in line at the NBC studios and got tickets - one for me and one for another person who wanted to go but couldn't stand in line. When I learned that there would not be enough tickets for the true fans, I gave up my ticket. BTW, at least two other people did the same thing.

I joined that site because I have friends there. I am no longer a member of that site, having quit about 8 months ago. When I was there, I made no secret of the fact that I was pro-FR, and during my time there I was an active poster at FR.
