Are you communist? I believe you should be on another website or better yet China would be a beautiful place for you to live. I can't believe how much government you want in our lives. It is a shame that you can't control yourself and need the government to do it for you. I guess you need to continue to vote for democrats like you have in the past. I am sorry if you don't like what I am saying, but you have blown me away with your idiotic post. In fact, we have a stupid phrase of the day and it is you today. If you were kidding then please post it next time.

They're going into overdrive pretending that illegal immigration doesn't exist.

maybe you should be on another site. This is a conservative forum, and conservatives usually stand for morality and decencey.

...conservatives usually stand for morality and decencey.

And because we do, we don't need the government doing it for us.

Darn. From the title, I thought it was going to mandate more indecency.

Wrong president.

And who gets to decide what is moral and decent? You?

Well ain't that special.

I'll reckon if you are "indecent" in Spanish, you'll be able to get away with it.

Conservatives want small government which obviously you don't want it. The way your at it FREEPERS will be band because of our beliefs and I am sure that you would be thrilled. The problem with your statement is that I can control myself and not go on the immoral and indecent stuff. I can't for the life of me believe you can't do the same. I hope once you think about this you will know that it is a slippery slope. How long until they decide that Christian speech is not decent because it offends. You could never speak ill of homosexuals because the internet police would not allow it. Please think about your statements and reevaluate if you really mean what you say. If you do, than God help America.

Que? Lol!I'm not big on government playing big brother, but the truth is that there isn't a lot on tv that's suitable for children. With all the perversion going on in the world, the last place you need it is in your own home. I'd love to see more family friendly programs. Bring back the Beaver!
(Cleaver, that is!) :P

Apparently, all of these people just don't have enough to do.

When I have this problem with the people I supervise at work, I just assign them something productive, monitor them as frequently as possible (sometimes daily) and then fire them if they don't get the job done.

great news. Now it needs to be expanded to cable and the internet.

Too bad al-Zarqawi is dead. You could enlist him to help you get rid of porn. His first terrorist mission was to blow up a movie theater that was showing porn in 1993.

Great comments, everyone!

Remember that parents and individuals already have the TV ratings and content-blocking tools that are necessary to make and enforce their own TV viewing decisions. This makes government regulation of TV both unnecessary and undesirable.

Check out TV Watch, at www.televisionwatch.org, which has common sense answers for this debate.

"I believe that government has a responsibility to help strengthen families," said George W. Bush in a statement.

WTF?

I don't want the government involved in this. I have a perfectly functional remote, and so does everyone else.
