My grandfather and mother use to smoke it....perfecto. Better than venison. Plus a warm rug to boot

I ate bear meat once (about 50 years ago!) when a neighbor shot one (northern Wisconsin) and shared with us. Long time ago, but my memory is that it was good, kind of like pork.
